A Closer Look

What the work actually involves

Three stages that decide whether a system performs for twenty-five years or becomes someone else’s problem.

Stage One · Mounting

Everything depends on the penetrations

Panels are the visible part, but the part that decides whether your roof leaks in year eight is underneath them. Every attachment is set into the rafter, not the sheathing, and flashed with the manufacturer’s own hardware so the warranty on the roof stays intact.

Rails are laid out to the plan set rather than eyeballed on the day, which is what keeps rows straight, keeps modules off the ridge and valleys, and leaves the array looking deliberate from the street.

Stage Two · Electrical

The part nobody sees is the part we are judged on

Combiners, disconnects, conduit runs and grounding are where an install is either done properly or merely made to work. Because our own licensed electricians do this rather than a subcontractor, the standard does not change between the roof and the wall.

Conductors are landed to torque spec, circuits are labelled so the next person can read the system, and every job is permitted and inspected. That is also why we can take on panel upgrades and meter replacements as standalone work.

Stage Three · Commissioning

Switched on is not the same as finished

Commissioning is where the system stops being hardware and starts being an asset. We verify production against the model we gave you, confirm the monitoring is reporting, and walk you through the app so you can see the same numbers we do.

From then on the system reports continuously. When output drifts from what it should be, we tend to know before you do — which is the whole point of monitoring a twenty-five year investment.
